Guest Policy

  • Each household may bring up to two guests per visit.
  • Guests must be accompanied by a resident at all times while at the pool.
  • The resident is responsible for their guests' conduct and adherence to all pool rules.

Private Events & Rentals

The pool and pool house are not available for private event rentals. Parties and gatherings beyond the standard guest policy are not permitted, unless it is a community-sponsored event coordinated for HOA members.

Pool Rules

The full pool rules are also posted at the pool house. Use of the pool indicates acceptance of these rules. They are organized below by category.

Membership & Access

  • The pool is for the private and exclusive use of Crockett's Ridge HOA members and their guests. The maximum number of guests per household is two. Members must accompany their guests at all times and are responsible for their guests' conduct.
  • Admittance is by blue key fob only. One fob is issued per household; replacement fobs are $25.00 each, available from Omega Association Management. Anyone using the facility without authorization is subject to arrest for trespassing.
  • Members not in good standing with the Association will lose their pool privileges.

Safety & Supervision

  • No lifeguards are on duty. Users swim at their own risk. The Association is not responsible for any accidents or injury in or around the pool. Nobody should swim alone.
  • The State of North Carolina advises that children under 14 should be accompanied by an adult — a parent or legal guardian, a relative, or a child care provider age 18 or older. Unsupervised children will be required to leave the pool area.

Health & Hygiene

  • No person with skin, eye, ear, or nasal infections is allowed in the pool.
  • No person with a communicable disease is allowed in the pool.
  • Children not fully toilet trained must wear a swim diaper, or a cloth diaper covered with plastic pants, while in the pool — per Health Department code.
  • If a child has an accident in the pool, clear the pool immediately and contact Covenant Pool Care at (919) 225-7577. Never rinse a child in the pool or in the shower after an accident. Willful disregard of this rule may result in costly fines.

Prohibited Conduct

  • No running.
  • No diving.
  • No boisterous or rough play. Disruptive, rude, or disrespectful behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted in the pool area.

Prohibited Items

  • No glass containers. If broken glass is found in the pool, it must be closed, drained, cleaned, and refilled — a costly process that will be charged to the responsible homeowner.
  • No grills, fires, or cooking in any portion of the pool area.
  • No roller blades, bicycles, or skateboards inside the pool area.
  • No audible music — radios, phones, speakers, and similar devices are not permitted unless used with headphones.
  • No smoking or vaping anywhere in the pool area, including the bathhouse and restrooms.
  • No food or beverages in the water or within three feet of the pool edge.
  • No pets or animals of any kind in or around the pool area.

Pool Equipment & Toys

  • Rafts are not permitted. The only flotation devices allowed are noodles, infant or toddler rings, and life vests.
  • Noodles are not permitted when the pool is crowded, as they pose a risk to young swimmers.
  • Remove water toys when not in use. Do not leave them on the pool deck — they create a trip hazard.
  • Pool furniture may not be used to make forts.
  • No one may tamper with or remove pool supplies, equipment, or furniture. Doing so is considered theft, and the police will be notified.

Attire

  • Proper swim attire is required. Cut-off shorts, street clothes, athletic wear, or similar are not permitted in the pool.

Parties, Cleanup & Enforcement

  • Parties of any type are not allowed at the pool, unless it is a community-sponsored event coordinated for HOA members.
  • Clean up after yourselves before leaving the pool area. If you were at a table, please put the umbrella down to prevent wind damage.
  • Willful damage to the pool by a resident or their guest will result in the homeowner being charged restoration costs plus a fine not to exceed $200. Pool privileges may also be revoked.

Safety & Emergencies

The pool is not lifeguarded. Swim at your own risk and supervise children at all times.

In an emergency

  • Call 911 for any medical emergency or life-threatening situation
